Granite Starts Kindergarten Program is a five day a week full day program (9am – 2pm) with the option of before and after class care. The Kindergarten curriculum includes reading and writing, math skills, oral language development, art, science and social studies. The way the skills and concepts are presented depends on the developmental level of your child. The goal of our kindergarten program is not only the academic skills, but the growth of the whole child. Social and emotional development, fine and gross motor development are all equally important in a child’s growth process. Field trips are a frequent part of the Kindergarten program as they enhance the curriculum by adding a hands-on approach to learning. They submerge children into the environment of the curriculum which provide an authentic references, creating a quality learning opportunity.
